Day of mindfulness in nature
at Pardesa practice center in northern Italy
with the Sangha of Bologna and international friends
Even someone who meditates alone in a forest or on a mountaintop can do so only thanks to the support of a community. The ancestral teachers who have transmitted a tradition, friends who have inspired us and helped us find our path, our companions in the practice, and even the farmers who produce the food we consume and those who protect the forest o the mountain. Full of gratitude, we practice in order to nuture ourselves and others, because healing, peace and awakening are not individual matters.
Sunday September 29 we will meet at Pardesa as an international community. We’ll be welcomed by practitioners who have come from Israel and elsewhere to participate in the retreat “We are the Earth” (26 settembre – 1 ottobre). It will be a day to collectively nuture our contact with nature and mindfulness, and to connect with each other, all of us dedicating time, energy and love to take care of ourselves and our society, each in our own context and our own way.
Together we’ll enjoy sitting and walking meditation outdoors, a vegan shared lunch, and activities to foster more understanding and intimacy, individual and collective.
The day will be conducted both in English and Italian.
Practical information

What to bring:
- vegan food to share for lunch, ready to serve
- your own reusable plate and silverware
- meditation cushion or bench
- thermos/water bottle
- appropriate shoes for walking outside
